Free Fire had already built a world its young audience knew instinctively — its characters, maps, rivalries and high-stakes survival logic. With the final season of Money Heist approaching, Garena wanted to bring those two cultural universes together in a ten-minute branded short film that felt native to both, rather than like a conventional crossover ad.
That called for more than scale. It needed scripted storytelling, an exact ear for Gen Z language, deep pop-culture fluency and a production approach capable of turning an Internet-first idea into polished cinematic entertainment. We built a young, specialist team across production and post, delivered ahead of schedule and on budget, and created a film that entered the audience's world on its own terms.
